1.Flush out the pump after every use

Pressure washers consist of simple systems, the washer receives a stream of fresh water from a faucet or a tap or a tank. The pressure washer has a part to receive water, and as the water flows into the pressure washer, the main pump raises its pressure to a higher level and push it into the hose and finally to the trigger gun or a spray gun to finish the cleaning job.

1.Check if there is any leaks in hose

If you've noticed your high pressure washer leaking, it could be a sign of a loose connection. If you've noticed the hose isn't connecting securely, it may be a cracked or brittle rubber O-ring. To remedy this, you'll need to replace the rubber o-ring.

In addition to leaking water, damaged hoses can cause serious injuries. Even a pin-sized hole in the hose can cause high pressure water to cut concrete and punch a hole in flesh. Do not try to patch up a hole with duct tape. This tactic won't hold the pressure and could even be damaging to your hands.

If you have a high pressure washer, it is important to check the hose to avoid damage. High-pressure hoses are designed to evenly distribute pressure across the length of the machine. They contain layers of materials and specially designed wire mesh. Repairing a leak in one part of the hose will only result in a distorted hose that will not hold the pressure. Besides saving you time, replacing a hose will give you a confidence in pressure washing your home or garden .

2.Relieve pressure in the machine and turn the switch off before storage
Turn off the pressure washer and the water supply, unplug it from electrical outlet, and then point the spray gun away from any people or animals and run it until the water stops flowing. And engage the trigger lock and let the pressure washer cool down.
